Cruyff wants Van Basten at Barcelona

Johan Cruyff, the legendary player and ex coach of FC Barcelona declared that Marco van Basten is the the best replacement for Frank Rijkaard.

“Van Basten is like Rijkaard.He loves the the game and he mix perfectly the quality of the game and results.”He also mention that Frank Rijkaard should not leave Barcelona.

Van Basten will end his contract with the national Dutch team after Euro 2008 and is wanted also by Ajax Amsterdam.Also despite the facts that there are rumors that put Mourinho or other coaches in pole position as managers for FC Barcelona , many sport analysts think that the Spanish team will continue to hire dutch coaches and continue the line started by Cruyff.During the last decades the catalan team had on the bench 3 dutch coaches : Johan Cruyff , Van Haal and Rijkaard.
